I’m very recently realizing, my default thought process is
“If it was secret they would let me know”
But it seems like everyone else thinks the opposite
And I keep getting caught up accidentally giving away private conversations.
Coworker A told me they ‘like going out at night and have a great night life’ so when coworker B asked if I had any club suggestions for meeting people, I told them to ask A because they probably know somewhere.
A asked me why I was talking about their life behind their back a couple days later, but I didn’t know it was meant to be private.
Should I’ve known to keep that secert? Idk if I’m missing the cue that it’s secret or if everyone expects me to keep all things quiet? I was just talking because I thought A was bragging about it anyway so it was free info?
