The Denmark vs. Germany match yesterday had to pause for twenty minutes because of rain, hail, lightning and literal waterfalls down the roofs of the stadium (a couple of Danes were dancing under one, bless them). Just as the game ended, very late, the storm arrived at my place, freaked the cats out who in return kept me awake. Today is super hot and humid, and I am running on very low speed.
Anyone know how to revive orchids? I found one in the thrash a few years ago and planted it in new orchid medium. It’s not dead, but it’s not growing, either.
I was at a basketball game friday night, a friendly match between Finland and Latvia ahead of the upcoming olympic qualifiers, and it’s funny how the average height of people at a basketball event in Finland seems to always be like 10 cm taller than elsewhere. I think it’s because even though basketball has gained more popularity here in the recent years, most people who go watch basketball games tend to be people who play have played themselves, and those people tend to be tall.
