Just been reading a post on the relationship advice sub. Basically, bloke thought he was invited to a close friend's wedding but wasn't. The original excuse the groom gave him was that he didn't think he would be interested, eventually (after the rest of the group of friends found out and started to drop out of the wedding) the groom claimed that it was because the friend was POC and his grandparents were racists. They were paying for the wedding and he did want to expose the friend to them, even though said friend had already met them before. The friend doesn't believe the excuse.
The guy has now decided to cut off his friendship with the groom.
So I would like to know if anyone else has been in this situation and what happened after the wedding in terms of their relationship?
