I (M20) have known this friend (F20) for quite a few years, maybe 4? We met on the internet. We barely see each other maybe once or twice a year. Still I value her as a good friend outside of my main friendship group.
Recently, she has been making quite suggestive conversations and the occasional comment about me. At first, I thought that perhaps she may have just become more open about this stuff but I feel like it's going a bit past that point and it's making me uncomfortable. I very much wish to remain friends with no benefits.
I just don't know how to get her to stop though because she hasn't explicitly said anything, there is a level of plausible deniability for her. Plus whether or not she admits it or even if I have the wrong end of the stick, I'm worried that it might make things awkward between us.
