What are the tell tale signs of other women envying you – how do you deal with it?

4. Had a co-worker. She would copy exactly everything I would do. From dressing styles, hairstyles and accessories. She would always shadow me secretly. I was popular with most of the attendings so she made sure she was always in the vicinity doing something lame like work on the desktop right outside the chambers just for listening closely so as to what tasks I was being assigned to because she obviously wanted to be a part of it. It was irritating.
   The worst part was she made sure she would pretend to not know a lot of the board questions prior to the exams and come over to discuss and see how much I had read. Ugh. The result was that we both ended up getting the exact same grades/marks on everything despite the fact that I would stay up day and night to work hard during residency. She sort of took that in stride..But it was the final nail in the coffin for me. Cut her off at the end of Uni. She still tries to talk/initiate texts, I don’t respond.
