I want to ask a coworker to hangout but she’s a girl which makes me nervous, how do I?

26 M, So this girl and me both start working at this tech company a couple of month ago. We started on the same day actually, so we ask each other questions now and then to help each other. We both prefer to work remote since it's way to noisy at the office. Thing is, I have no friends since they all moved away and I'm local to the place we live, lived around 40 mins away from the office my whole life. She just moved from Texas when work started so she doesn't have friends either I think from what she said. Thing is I like her, and want to hang out with her, cause I get bored especially on the weekends, but since she's a girl I don't want it to feel like I'm tryna make a play on her or something. Obviously I do like her so if something happens it happens, but not really my intention right now, I just genuinely want a good friend. If I had other friends I would bring her along but since I don't I'm just confused on how to approach this.
