I know several people that have moved to the States and many have told me that they had a really hard time making new friends in the U.S. They found Americans friendly (from a conversational standpoint) but they weren't really interested in expanding their friend circle. They tended to mostly socialize with people they grew up with and/or went to school with etc.
I would love to hear from Americans that have moved to different States. Did you struggle to make friends? What was your general experience?
