So for some context!!
I (F24) met this guy (M32) on a dating app. We chatted and seemed to connect with each other a lot, so we continued to talk in Snap for like a week now. Not really everyday because we were both busy with work, but we do text each other still (Idk if this is helpful, but somehow I was always the first person to send a chat? Then it goes well from there. I mean, I'm interested in him so yeah 🤣). Fast forward, he said it'll be great if we could hangout for coffee and just walk around the city. Of course, I was excited and asked him when would that be? He asked me when am I available. Sadly, I was only available on a Friday and he said it was cool with him.
So on Thursday, we were chatting and really having fun, but totally forgot to ask what time will we meet and where. He replied the next day saying that he'll let me know, but it may be around 6pm or so. I let him know that was fine. So after work, I got home and all dressed up (even asked God if he wasn't the one, please give me a sign) while waiting for that time. I didn't wanna message an hour or 30 minutes before the actual time, 'cause idfk?? I don't wanna seem too desperate or something. So I was waiting at home just chilling. 6pm passed, 6:30pm, 7pm, and 7:30pm… No text or anything at all (ffs, God really did send a sign 🥲).
I wasn't sure if I got stood up, but went out anyways HAHA 'cause, what the hell?? I dressed up and all only change back to house clothes because he didn't bother to message a few hours to cancel or something?? So I went to a pub on my own and drank some good ass beer & fries (i should have ordered some wings, damn it. But i was on a diet). I also went to a karaoke place, and had a large room (because they didn't have a smaller one) to sing all to myself. It was a fun solo date. I'm not gonna lie, I was really disappointed because we did have such a great connection, right?? Oh well 🥲
So my question is… What should I do when he chats me? Do I even bother replying? Should I give him that (fucking) chance to meet with him again if he asks? I'm still curious about him, but Idk how to feel about this. DID I REALLY JUST GET STOOD UP?? and was it right to assume I got stood up??? Please help my lonely heart 🥲✨
