At a bar, solo. I don’t understand how people do this lol.

It's the stereotypical "you can pick up/ meet girls at bars" scenario. I've long-since overcome the fear of going out solo, been doing it on and off for years, not really expecting anything, just for a few drinks and good vibes. But the whole making friends, talking to girls thing? As someone who comes alone, knows no-one, has social anxiety, and is awkward af to begin with? I don't know how people do it lol, this feels like an insurmountable step.
