I’m going through my (29F) first heartbreak to my first real love (30F). Lost a relationship of 5.5 years. We did have problems, I know. but also she’s made me feel loved in a way I didn’t even know was possible. Our connection was just so profound and it changed my whole world. She’s also the reason I was able to finally accept that I like women. She brought so much adventure into my life. Unfortunately we just couldn’t build a future we were both excited about. We are both very different and trying so hard to compromise on everything was also taking a toll.
It feels like my one chance at love has come and gone and it didn’t work out. It feels like there is just no way I could feel that deeply for someone ever again. No way I could ever build connection that profound.
Could you guys tell me your stories of finding love again when you really thought you’d lost the love of your life. I need the inspiration.
