What are some good questions or ways to talk to people you meet at a party? Like when your friend sees someone they know so they go start talking to them and then your left to talk to the other persons friends…
I was at a big event today and this happened a lot. I did my best to make conversation by either complimenting them on something, asking them if they live nearby, or taking about the weather… but it mostly felt kinda awkward and like pulling teeth (maybe that’s just me being in my own head and feeling awkward within myself though)
I feel like I so rarely socialize in a big group/party format anymore (I’m 26) that I’ve lost my social skills.
