I [32M] have a GF (been together for 6 years), going to Vegas during the week for a conference and invited my friend [30F] who also has a BF of 2 years. I play tennis with her regularly 2-3 times per week. Met her through tennis less than a year ago, been hanging out more recently the last few months. We would meet up for happy hour just the 2 of us about 2 times per week after work.
Going to a conference during the week, mentioned it to her because she says she loves Vegas, so I invited her to come for the weekend. We will go eat at some nice spots (think Michelins star) and out to the day clubs/night clubs. Strictly platonic trip for me, my concern is alcohol will be involved in Vegas and I’m not sure what she thinks is going to happen since she didn’t think twice about accepting my invitation when I first asked. I’m thinking about telling her I’m not staying that weekend anymore because I don’t want to put myself in a situation where something may happen sexually between us.
TLDR: both of us are in relationships with other people and going to Vegas with just us 2. Should I be concerned we might hook up since it’s Vegas and alcohol is involved.
