Hi! I’ve started to date a man (30) for two months. We had an amazing time, matched perfectly in every aspect (physically, mentally, humor etc). Suddenly he started to act weird and I started to ask him what his intentions are. He said he’s not looking for a relationship right now. He was jumping from one long term relationship to another in the last 15 years. He said he likes me a lot around him, adores me but he’s never been “young, wild and free” and wants to experience it once. I told him he can’t keep me on the back burner, but we text a bit during the day (his initiative).
I really like him but I don’t get why he prefers this lifestyle when he could have had someone around he was perfectly compatible with.
What should I do?
How can I keep him? Should I distance myself? Should I text him back as normally? Should I cut ties?
