TL;DR: boyfriend seems to fantasise about a girl he met at his brother’s wedding and I don’t know what to do
Context: my bf (34M) and I (34F) have been together for 5 years. We recently went to his brother’s wedding. Before the wedding he told me that he heard a weather forecast girl who is one of the bridesmaids will be present. I didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t feeling well and was in my room pretty much throughout the wedding as I didn’t feel integrated. I knew he had the time of his life and came back at 5am when the party ended. He isn’t the usual type to stay till very late at the party. His words he was just so happy for his brother. Since the wedding , he asked me “did I tell you there was a wedding forecast girl at the wedding” THREE TIMES over the course of 3 days. the third time he mentioned was when we were at a bookshop and he looked at a magazine cover and said the model looks like this girl at the wedding. I thought I had enough and asked him if I can go through his phone – what I found was that he looked up on her on instagram (along with the bride’s sister) and I don’t know what to make out of this. Is he interested in her? Is this a red flag I should be serious about? Of course when I asked him he brushed it off saying it was his first time meeting a TV personality and he was curious. I’m just baffled because he’s never done that in 5 years we were together.
