Does anyone struggle with building social skills?

I m building a social network to make introductions between people over email so they can build their social skills. The idea is simple: one email connection per day, where both parties have to opt in to connect. All from your email inbox. I’d love some feedback. Is this something you’d use? If not, why not? Etc.
