So my coworker introduced me to her sons godfather. Hes (23M) in the military and is currently not in the states. When we first talked he said I was beautiful and told me he wants to pursue me, we talked on and off for about 2 months. He looks like a good person and was raised similarly like I was.
We have never met in person and have only texted and facetimed twice (being that hes stationed somewhere in Europe). One of those facetimes is when he offered to pay for half my flight and take care of other expenses over there with him. He offered to take me wherever I wanted to go and do anything I wanted to do.
It is a very generous offer and I told him I cant just up and go due to my pending living situation getting sorted out (moving away for college) and my parents being protective of me (which I understand).He told me the offer is always on the table and told me to think about it.
Thing is we havent created chemistry as id like to. I want to get to know him better and connect with him. I know the basics of where hes from what he does and some experiences hes had but nothing else. I do notice that some of his lifestyle choices I dont really do but on our ft call he told me he wants to settle down now and since I knew his friends and his godson, it makes sense for him to make me the godmother.
I told him to give me some time to think about it and sort out my stuff first. After our ft call he said he would talk to me later but I texted him and was left on read 4 days ago.
Sorry for the long read, but is this someone being straightforward with me or someone I should stay away from?
