I feel like a depleted and hopeless failure and could use stories (either your own or biographies) from single parents who held it together and beat the odds.
Me:
I’m (39M) a full custody single father to my 8F. My ex is mentally ill and hasn’t been a coparent for the last 4yrs.
I’m also two layoffs in over the last 12months.
I’m also helping care for my aging parents.
I’m also a writer who’s had short stories published and nominated for major awards, but I haven’t been able to focus on and finish my first novel with life going on.
