So I have been seeing this guy for like two weeks now, on the first date he took me to the movies, and since his car got taken for speeding on the way home after the first date, we always hung out at my place or his (we would talk, watch movies, makeout sessions nothing more), I don't know if got the wrong message but, to me, being that close to someone and not calling it dating is kind of weird, it has been 4 dates so in my head yeah I assumed I dated the guy, however I had asked him where we stand since he ghosted me for a week, and he told me ∞ there is nothing between us. I quote "I told u I like u but that doesn't mean we were dating, there is nothing to explain" when the whole time when we were hanging out he would say I am with my girl whenever his friends were calling him, telling me he don't wanna risk losing me, straight to my face. I feel very stupid for thinking we were actually dating, since I take dating as a serious thing and not just to meet people and have fun.
