What makes a hot/good kisser?

I (f22) just want some real tips to actually use. I’ve only kissed one person in my life and I’m starting to think that he wasn’t that good. He would like cover my top and bottom lip with his, and I would open my mouth wider to fit (cus it seemed odd not too) and he would just open even WIDER. I would also feel the urge to wipe my mouth afterwards cus spit is everywhere. I wonder if I’m just too prim for kissing, but I think it matters and leads to good things. Please help a gal out.
