Two months ago, I met a girl in my city in Mexico while she was on a working vacation. We spent almost every day together for two weeks and felt a strong connection. She had to return to her city for a few weeks.

Before coming back, she asked to stay in my apartment instead of her friend’s Airbnb, where she would be staying with her male friend. She had stayed there before but the house had been vacant, this time there would be her male friend there. My place is smaller and it would be a little cramped, but I liked the idea. When she arrived, she decided to stay at the Airbnb after all. I expressed discomfort about her staying with another guy, but she assured me he’s a long-time friend, much older than her, she has her own room, and it’s no big deal.

She said the Airbnb is more comfortable and accused me of being controlling, and expressed that she wanted a relationship based on trust. I agreed with the trust part but added that I still think there should be limits or boundaries and suggested alternatives, like staying with a female friend or improving my apartment, but she rejected them. She was very angry with me for having a problem with the whole thing to begin with.

I’m upset and unsure if my feelings are valid or if I'm overreacting. I struggle with social situations, so I’d appreciate any opinions on this.
