I used to be excited at the prospect of each and every opportunity, but now I feel lost. What to do?

In short, I'll be changing job at the end of the month and I have a choice to make: either take a role in my hometown or move to Rome and then open up my career for frequent international missions. I'm 32M and I've lived abroad for 5 years of my life in three different countris. You'd imagine I'd be jumping on the second opportunity, yet a voice inside me feels more content, stable and joyful remaining. Why have i missed my spark?
