Me and this girl met from hinge, both of our dates in my eyes were really good, it was never awkward, we hugged, held hands and made out on both occasions whilst waiting for our trains. On the 2nd date the vibes were very good, we held hands for hours and when sitting down we would still be holding them across the table, we factetimed on numerous occasions between our first and 2nd date and even once after our 2nd date. After both dates she said she had a great time and loved spending time with me and was excited to meet again. She said she was excited for our 2nd date multiple times over text and voice notes and on FaceTime.
However, few days after our 2nd date she went on a night out and her replies suddenly became slow, they never were before. I messaged asking if we were okay and she said she wasn’t emotionally available and didn’t want to lead me on and couldn’t see things going further, this was so sudden it was kind of overwhelming. She was my first kiss and I thought we had a real connection and I thought she liked me too considering the things she did and said. She often initiated the holdings hands, hugs and kisses etc. I bought her flowers on the 2nd date in her favourite colour which she displayed in her room and sent me a photo and she took over 50 photos from the stuff we did on the date and even posted one on her social media story. So now I just feel loss. On our 2nd date she opened up and said she wants to take things slow as she had a break up where she got cheated on in January. But we both agreed to take things slow, as this was my first time getting to know a girl like this.
We have stopped talking now and I removed her off everything. I felt embarrassed to feel like this as it was only couple dates but it felt like we made a genuine and mutual connection. I probably feel like this because it was my first kiss and first date so she is probably always going to be engrained in my memory one way another. I just feel lost and confused and I’m scared to start dating again. I probably sound so dramatic but any advice would be amazing thank you.
