So the girl (19) and I (18) met through a dating app, which coincidentally was also a friend of a friend of mine too. We found out that her friend was also my friend and we got along really well from there. We exchanged social medias and move there.
Recently, I made a mistake. We we’re having a conversation about perfumes or colognes and asked her if she could come with me to look for affordable prices. She instantly agreed to it and we we’re feeling each other and we traded pics of ourselves and complimented each other. We planned to meet up in a few days and I’m very excited about it. She’s really cute and attractive, she’s also very funny and we shared some qualities with each other. And it came to the topic that she catfishes her pics and said it as a joke. Then I hyped it with saying “It’s obvious HAHAHAHAH I do the same too.”
From there, instant regret. I quickly apologized and I don’t expect any forgiveness from that because I understand how hurtful it is. I didn’t think about it before I send the text and that’s my mistake. I intended to show my vulnerability side as well because I do the same thing as well with my insecurities and I also said that to her. She only likes my messages after that and said it’s okay and expressing how hurtful she is from what I said. I also said that I wish I can go and hug her and she refuses politely. I feel really guilty about it and I don’t know what to do next other than own up to it and learn from it and be more careful next time. I also told her to that I’ll take some time to reflect on myself and she said “okay”.
Can I still say goodnight to her? Should I just wait for her text me?
