So my fiance and i were supposed to have an engagement photo shoot this upcoming Friday with our wedding photographer. The photography package we picked out for our wedding included a “free” engagement shoot with it. I also thought it would be nice to actually meet the person who will be with us for 10hours on our wedding day before the actual wedding! So engagement shoot had been booked for this Friday for months… was on his calendar and everything.
My fiance is refusing to cooperate and do the photo shoot because he said it isn’t needed. The context behind this is that we did do a 1 hour engagement shoot a few months back to get a photo for our save the dates and we had to do that with a local photographer because our wedding photographer was booked. I understand part of his point that it isn’t needed but I’m disheartened with the way he approached it… he is messaging me this on Wednesday.. 2 days before the engagement shoot.. so now i have to cancel it with our WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.. with a 48 notice and she was supposed to be traveling to our city from out of town… it just makes me feel like he doesn’t care at all. I haven’t spoken to Him since this text. I truly have no idea even what to say to him. I’m very disappointed in his actions to say the least..
