I’ve (29) been with my BF (30) for almost a year now. He’s very funny and it’s one of his most charming attributes. He can be romantic but it usually ends in a tasteful joke — which is great! But in bed, sometimes I want him to put it to rest. When we first got intimate, he was cracking all sorts of jokes and I was endeared by it, but it gets a little tiresome at times especially when I want the focus on just being romantic or sometimes I just want it to be purely sexual without comedy.
TMI part, we were getting intimate one night at my place. We were doing doggy style and I was really enjoying it and the moans we both had were so hot. Then suddenly, he just yells out “A train, baby!” I don’t even know what random shit that is so I just chose to ignore it but it honestly turned me off so much because I was really getting into the mood. What’s the best way to approach something that’s so intrinsic to his character? I’m afraid it might make things awkward or if it’ll just turn him off.
