So, I will be moving from Japan (after 2 years) back to the States. I originally lived and voted in Hawai'i but will be moving to Oregon in September of this year. From what I gathered from online, I can still register to vote even if I don't have Oregon ID. I can just print a PDF form and mail it in, using the last four digits of my SSN instead. I'm just scared it'll take too long to process before I can even register officially to vote since the due date is Oct. 15th and I'll be coming in mid-September.
I figured that if I registered to vote, forward some mail to my new house, I could easily also obtain and transfer my HI license to an OR one for ID as well.
