I don’t know if anyone cared for it but here is an update. I responded by saying “Oh that’s pretty cool. I listen to a wide variety of music as well, to the point I probably couldn’t pin point it to a specific genre. What’s been in your rotation lately? Personally, I’ve been listening to Alex G, Wallows, Death Grips, Rex Orange County, and of course Clairo because her new album just came out.”, I’m pretty sure the conversation is over considering they only liked the message. Do you have any ideas of better conversation starters to get know more about someone?
