I work in manufacturing, so we’re required to wear safety glasses on the production floor. Most people will put them on their foreheads out of habit if we’re looking at our computers or something, though- but they’ve been slightly cracking down on that.

There’s this pretty high up manager lady that works in my building. She’s notorious for condescending people and talking down to them. This morning, I had my safety glasses on my forehead and she came over to my desk and smacked it a few times and told me to put my glasses on correctly. In my head, I meant to nod and say something, but instead I just put my glasses on and that’s it. No facial expression or anything. I wasn’t annoyed at her, I wasn’t upset she asked me to wear them, I don’t know why my face just didn’t move?

She then went to my manager and told him that I had a bad attitude and was rude to her this morning. He stuck up for me and told
her I’m a very good employee and always very nice and smiley.

But still- WHY didn’t my face move? I have MAJOR RBF so it probably did look like I was incredibly rude.

Does this happen to anyone else???
