I just bought lingerie to wear for my boyfriend. I’m a bit self conscious and feel that makeup would help me feel more confident; would this make me look like a try-hard?

He(36M) gets home from work at like 5 am and sometimes I’m(28F) still awake during this time, other times I’m not. We share a bed. Would I look like a try-hard if he came home from work and maybe I was sleeping or not, with full make-up still on at 5 am? I just feel like makeup completes the look. I’ll be in a thong and bra. I’ve never worn a thong before or lingerie for anyone, so I’m a little anxious but don’t want him to think I’m a try-hard. Am I overthinking?
