In about a month I’ll be going into high school and I barely know anyone close enough to hangout with. I know a few girls but I don’t think I have good relationships with them and my only friend (my bsf) will probably pick them over me.
So now I’m going to a school with people who most likely dislike me and I know nobody.
My plan is to try my best to socialize and for lunch I’ll ask people if I could sit with them (is that too weird?) Also is it weird to come up to someone and ask if we could be friends? I was told it was.
My biggest fear is being alone and I lack social skills so can anyone tell me about their experiences and/or how they were able to make friends? I’m actually terrified, anything will help!!
