I've been talking to this girl on Hinge for a month. We went on 3 dates in 7 days, and everything went really well. She’s a travel nurse, so her texting was sporadic, but genuine. She doesn’t live in my city but splits time here and her hometown. She's thinking about moving here and mentioned her future person isn't in her hometown.

Our dates went incredibly well. By the second date, she told me she wasn't talking to anyone else. She said she dates intentionally, kept complimenting me, and we're both from the same ethnic background, which she's looking for in a partner. We clicked so well and have a lot in common. I’ve never had this much of a connection with someone before. The only holdup was her not living here, but she said she'd look at apartments. We talked about doing so many things together in the future.

She then went back home for two weeks. I dropped her off at the airport, and we agreed to hang out when she returns (this weekend). I texted her 4 days after she left, but noticed she had notifications silenced. She responded a day later with a dry text. I texted again last Saturday, but she hasn't responded and still has notifications silenced.

Today, I checked her Hinge and saw she updated her pictures and bio. Her ideal guy description is exactly me, which was a gut punch. I feel crushed because everything was going so well. I know she doesn't owe me anything since we've been talking for a month, but I thought we were headed toward something.

I don't want to call it quits, but I feel very disrespected. I won't text her when she returns unless she reaches out first. Any advice on what to do if she does or doesn't text me?
