So I recently had a Pap smear and a urine sample taken (Tuesday), because I have been dealing with the constant urge to urinate, even right after urinating. I was also having odour issues, so before I saw the doctor I did the 6-day internal cream for Yeast Infection, and the issue didn’t change, so I started the 7-day Bacterial Vaginosis treatment. Once I saw the doctor, my test result came back negative for STIs and a UTI, but Positive for Bacterial Vaginosis.

The internet says that frequent urge to pee is a symptom of BV, but other places on the internet say it isn’t. Once I finish the last few BV gel tubes, I’m hoping this internal feeling goes away. I’ve already booked a follow up appointment with my doctor, because I need prescription renewals anyway, and perhaps she can prescribe me a pill or another vaginal cream/gel to deal with this.

It’s extremely uncomfortable, always feeling like I have to pee. It’s extremely uncomfortable having this pelvic pressure, and I’m afraid I can’t ever masturbate with penetration or have sex with my boyfriend again. I don’t wanna stop having sex, but I also don’t want to develop Pelvic Inflammatory Disease.

I already told my Boyfrend I want him to start wearing condoms when we have sex until I have this sorted out. Because we’re exclusive, the first time and every time since we’ve had sex, we haven’t bothered with condoms. Now I want him to wear one every time he penetrates me until I fix this. He doesn’t have any issue with that request.
