I’ve (24F) been talking to this guy (28M) on and off since December 2023. I ended things with him at the end of May because I began exclusively dating another guy I met before him. Things between the other guy and I ended up not working out though.
So fast forward to about a week and a half ago, he reached back out to me asking if I was open to going out for drinks and catching up. I said yes.
So we went out for drinks on Wednesday, had a great time, went back to his place, cooked dinner together, watched Hulu, and ended up having sex for the first time. We had been on like 4 dates this year though so it’s not like we had sex on our very first meet up, but it WAS the first meet-up we’ve had in a few months.
I left Thursday morning & before I did, he thanked me for the great time & gave me a hug and a kiss.
I texted him that I made it home okay and he loved the message & replied “enjoy your day off!” & that was the last time I’ve heard from him. It’s been 4 days now and I’m not sure if that means he’s not interested. I feel I should message him but I’m not sure what to say, I was thinking:
“Hey! I know you told me you had a busy weekend ahead of you so I hope everything turned out well!”
or
“Hey! I had a great time on Wednesday & was wondering if you wanted to plan to do something this week too?”
Should I send one of these or is there something better I can say or do I just leave him alone all together?
tl;dr met a guy in december, stopped talking in may, he reached out to go for drinks last week, ended up going back to his place and having sex & I haven’t heard from him since. It’s been 4 days. Do I reach out? What do I say?
