I'm 36 and I already have lots of ear hair, even on the outside of my ears, which I now have to shave. It's such a chore, I often forget about it and I already had some people notice my hairy freaking ears. I was wondering do any of you fellas have them and how you deal with them? I'm not a particularly hairy guy so it's really weird to have them on my ears of all places.

Is there a more permanent solution, like laser removal or something?

  1. Use one of those Panasonic ear nose eyebrows shavers in the morning routine or before shower or when shaving.

Same as beard – annoying but has to be done. Laser removal should be possible, but I don’t think it is permanent.

  2. I’ve actually considered getting my lobes lasered so I just don’t have to deal with it anymore. My only concern would be that the hairs on my lobes are pretty light colored in general so I’m not sure it would really work.

  3. My (Turkish) barber waxes them and my nostrils when I go in for a cut. Simultaneously awful and glorious.

  4. Small electric trimmer. Works for nose hair too. As you age, your hair migrates from your scalp to basically everywhere else.

  5. The hairs in my nose and mustache grow like a garden. It has to be trimmed every week.

  6. I use the same tool I use for nose hair. It grows around the same rate, and the nose hair is way more annoying for me, so, I just do them both at the same time. Except this one annoying super hard hair that grows on my lobe, which I pluck.

  7. I have this little $15 ear & nose trimmer. Use it every 7-10 days for 1 minute. Does the trick!
