I (23M) met this girl (22F) at the end of April from Hinge and we had an immediate connection on our first date. We went on multiple dates over a short period of time and things were kind of amazing. The best I’ve ever felt about a girl.
She has a job that keeps her busy and she travels a lot but when she was here on the weekends we would spend almost the entire weekend together. Things progressed very quickly to us holding eachother all night and staying in bed all morning, we did chores together, texted 24/7… I feel like I learned almost everything about her and I told her so much about me.
She got relocated for work to a city about 2 hours away and she told me with her work and the distance we couldnt have a serious relationship, but I’m also not sure about my future so I was ok with that. She told me I couldn’t come visit because it would be too “relationshipy”
We spent all 72 hours she had left here together and I helped her move out and almost as soon as she arrived to her new city she asked me to come visit her. I had been planning to come see her for a month, and we have been texting/facetiming all the time since. We had been going back and forth over the past week bc she got anxiety about me visiting and escalating our feelings and leaving us both more hurt.
I thought she was overthinking it because we both care about each other but I was ok with not visiting just yet because she was anxious. She made a lot of effort to make sure her cancelling wouldn’t ruin things between us.
She just sent me a text yesterday out of the blue that read like a corporate HR email saying we shouldn’t talk anymore and it was nice to know me. Now I’m reeling I don’t know what to do, I don’t not want to ever hear from her again but I know her and she sticks to her decisions.
I dont know what I’m expecting but I don’t have anything to talk to this about.
