I’ve noticed my vagina gets itchy a day after sex. Should I be worried?

I’m a lesbian and my girlfriend and I are in a committed relationship. She has never had a sexual partner before me and I’ve only had one sexual partner before, two years ago. Lately I’ve been enjoying being fingered a lot more than before, but I’ve noticed my vagina feels itchy inside the day after. The itching usually goes away within a day, but it’s annoying. I’m fairly confident neither of us have STDs given our sexual history, and I haven’t noticed any other symptoms besides the itchiness the day after. Should I go to a gynecologist about this?
