We’re thinking about baby’s but he doesn’t fuck me on my period at all

We’ve been together for four years and we are high school sweethearts and the sex, the oral sex is all very very good but as soon as I get on my period he doesn’t touch he only will do oral sex with me or I give him blowjobs. Now it has happen a couple of times where he will fuck me on period but it was always accidental like my period would just show up right then and there. And it’s only happened three times. The last two he took his dick out cleaned his dick and then went in the back door the rest of the time. And we have been thinking about making baby’s soon but that has to happen when I’m on my period and the chance of it happening when I’m not on my period is very very small. But he thinks it will work like I have asked him how are we gonna have baby’s when you can’t even go in there on my period? And he responded well just make it happen when your not on your period. And maybe I’m the one that’s being ridiculous here but I grew up thinking that baby’s are made when I’m on my period and it’s supposed to be wonderful sex. So that’s what I want and I don’t know if I’m the selfish one for wanting that and I also don’t know what to do to making him comfortable with that. Sorry about the bad grammar
