Does anyone else have this problem?

If theres one thing i hate more than anything else when it comes to socializing, its people that just dont care. When i speak to someone, i want to feel that theyre alive, and not just responding like a robot. They usually just say "oh", "uh huh", and "ah". Its like talking to a wall. It kinda fuels that notion of "why should i do it if no one cares?". And that sucks since i want to improve, for when i get a job and all. I cant speak too good cause i stumble a lot on my words, but generally i can get the point across. Maybe im just too awkward by nature. Or maybe its just the other person being annoyed that they have to respond to me. Who knows.
