Been working as a prison officer for a while. I Have never really enjoyed it, it's so up and down and the environment is so toxic . I'm at the stage now where it feels I cant find anything better, and am just trapped in this job as the money is better than what I could get elsewhere and I cant afford to take such a steep pay cut as I've recently bought a house and gotten married and feel like I'm just going to be stuck here for ever.
The job gives me stress and anxiety, I cant switch off, it's constantly on my mind, I cant sleep properly and I just don't know know what to do.
