Conversation starters and what to talk about😭?

I’ve been hanging around the same crowd of people and really wanna talk to others but I literally don’t know how to initiate and sometimes I literally don’t know what to talk about bc mostly I be talking about stuff in the past or up and coming stuff and I can’t talk about that with strangers🤩 I just really wanna hit up new people but idk really how to do it?
