I at times think someone has finished talking and as I reply they continue on. How long do you usually wait and let their words sink in before replying?
Edit: I meant to say replying in a conversation. Just because I will do my best to listen to what someone else says, then they pause and continue as I’m replying. I’m not sure if I should count to 3 or maybe, just ask them if they’ve made their full point, or something else.
