Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is struggling with social anxiety and finding it difficult to approach and talk to random people. It's something I've been dealing with for a while, and I've realized that facing this fear head-on might be the best way to overcome it.

My Plan:

I’m looking for a few accountability partners who are also interested in improving their social skills. The idea is to create a small group where we hold each other accountable and encourage one another to step out of our comfort zones. Here’s how it would work:

  1. Regular Challenges: We’ll set specific goals for interacting with people, starting with small, manageable tasks like making small talk with store clerks or asking for directions.
  2. Proof of Progress: To keep ourselves accountable, we’ll film our interactions and share them with the group. This isn’t about perfect performance, but about making the effort and improving over time.
  3. Supportive Feedback: We’ll provide constructive feedback and support to help each other improve and stay motivated.
  4. Privacy and Respect: We’ll be mindful of privacy and ensure our interactions are respectful and considerate.

If you’re interested in joining let me know and I'll create maybe a Discord group. Also if there's already something like this let me know and I'll just join there. Thanks!
