I (M) was at a party the other day. Very much out of my element with a lot of people that I don't have much in common with lol. Anyways, I was approached by a woman while there. She walked up to me and gave me the eyes 👀 (which were beautiful btw). I complemented her outfit and her hair (because she was stunning). She complemented my looks back. I then asked her about herself. I tried to keep it playful and fun, but I just wasn't getting much playful banter in return. She just kept giving me the eyes 👀 (iykyk). Mind you, I was sober and she was not.
I was exhausted from being at the party so long and my conversation skills were waning. After trying for a while, I made an excuse to leave the conversation and left. It just bothers me because she was totally my type, I respect her career, and she made the first move. She honestly felt interested in me the entire time, but couldn't hold the conversation. Is it possible she was just nervous or too intoxicated? Or did she lose interest? I always thought I was friendly and easy to talk to. 🙁
