I (24F) have been with my boyfriend (26M) for 5 years and the last two years of our relationship have been rocky due to us growing into ourselves. Because of that, it had lead to many disagreements. Almost every time we get into it, I get sick of it, want to break up with him, but then we actually communicate well, we both feel better, attempt to fix the problem, forget about trying to fix it, and then a few weeks pass by and a similar argument happens again. My boyfriend is avoidant but does really well when we are trying to resolve the issue but him and I are both getting sick of arguing. How do you affectively change after an argument? As easy as it sounds
