I’m a very genuine person, and I enjoy freely giving compliments to people to show how much I care. I recently became very close to someone, but I noticed they don’t react much when I say a compliment to them. I know they like me a lot, but I can’t help but feel a little taken aback inside when they don’t say thank you or something like that.
If you’re the type to not take compliments well, what do you prefer people say to you instead? What makes you feel good?
Also, why do you think some people don’t take compliments well? I just want to understand.
