Wanted to post this here to get some outside perspective due to my lack of experience.
I (M22) have been seeing a girl (F20) for a little while now. We go to the same university and she is very attractive and seems pretty cool. The only issue is when she started to bring up things about her past unprompted. I know that nobody is a saint and that everybody has some history but I'm starting to think that this stuff should be viewed as a red flag and that I would be an idiot to ignore it all. For starters, she said that she has been with 16 people in total. Around half of them were in a span of 3-4 months after she just got out of a relationship. The relationships she got in were all toxic where she would get cheated on and mistreated but would still stick around. She also said that she has cheated before as well. She admitted to having videos of herself leaked and getting seen by a lot of people that she knows. There is more trauma from her past but I think you get the picture.
Is this normal or am I most likely going to end up regretting this? I don't have a ton of dating experience and I don't want to be overly judgmental of her but it just seems like it's one thing after the other and is never ending. I am at a point in my life where I am looking for something that is serious and long-term and I am worried that I'm overlooking some serious red flags.
