It was green with a shiny, scale-like pattern on it. Kind of looked like a curvier Lamborghini Murciélago with the exposed engine in the back.
I have the batmobile collection, not to braaaag but…
I had one that was like… such an impractical design. Instead of a single body there were two sort of rod-shaped bodies on the chassis, side by side so it looked like Baby’s First Jenga. I think one side had the seats and the other side had the engines.

The classic Twin Mill, by far
I used to take my hundreds of toy cars and smash them together, whichever one didn’t flip upside down, was the winner.
I would do that for hours. Put a whole bracket together and seed it based on previous wins. I even kept track of winners in my little notebook.
The overall grand champion was always the 1989 Batmobile, or an open-wheeled race car that I had. While there were occasionally upsets (as it’s single elimination), those two probably won a combined 60-75+% of the time.
They were both low to the ground, fairly heavy, and long/wide bodies, so just natural competitors for this competition. A lot of the other cars would just drive right over them, or were too light, or too narrow, etc…
The Batmobile always had the edge though, so I’ll say that’s the best Hotwheels car.
[My Turboa](https://treasurevalleyantiques.com/products/1995-hot-wheels-krackle-cars-turboa-snake-purple-die-cast-toy-car-vehicle-uh). Look it up, little me thought it was the absolute best car. Adult me only slightly questions it.
Pontiac Fiero
wish they made a Fiero GT but I’ve never seen one.
I’m old school–I have Don Prudhome’s Snake II Cuda.

I’ve got the Aston Martin DB5 on my shelf and in Hot Wheels Unleashed. Damn thing goes like hell.
first edition 8 crate. Had it when I was a kid, need to track another down.
As a kid, I would spend each Sunday morning with all my cars and the 2 lane dragway. I would pair up each car and race them until a winner was crowned. My favorite car was this black car with either HW or Mattel written across the top. That fucker was FAST!
For me it’s this silver and blue ‘Fast Fish’. It’s my favourite due to nostalgic reasons.
The one’s you can put into a tube sock and wack your Brother on his ass while he is watching cartoons
Oh boy, I am the weird kid. Not Hotwheels, but the Matchbox RoadBlasters. Think HotWheels but with snap on armor, lasers, missiles, battering rams, etc.
The Nissan 180sx, specially the 2015 one
