I ask because I had the most perplexing experience the other day. I had been talking to this woman and we vibed really well!
After several days of talking, she gave me her number and told me she was going to read her book until she passed out, and for me to text her tomorrow.
Okay fair.
When I get someone's number I send them a quick text and say, "hey it's [name] from [app]". So I did just that with a "cant wait to talk tomorrow, have a good night!"
The next morning comes, and she sends me a text. It basically said that me sending her a message even though she told me not to was a huge red flag and that I was probably controlling. (wtf) she said she no longer had any interest in talking to me and she unmatched me.
(She sent this from the app, not even from her number)
Things went from 100-0 in such a weird ass way that I was left dumbfounded.
Was it really that bad to send a message saying "hey this is my number, hope you have a good night" 💀
