My boyfriend keeps getting soft

So…when were outside being touchy kissing etc.. he gets rock hard. When i give him head the same, no problem. But the minute he tries to put it in he gets soft immediately. Were both virgins, so i think it might be an anxiety thing? Any tips please, i feel like it will be a problem for our relationship.
