Honestly, I'm exhausted. Before Covid and my last relationship, I used to get tons of good matches. Now I'm in my 50s, recently single and although I get tons of likes on Bumble and Tinder, women aren't putting in any effort anymore. Tinder has a lot of women being overly sexual as one would expect, but even those who say they're looking for a relationship invite me to their home as soon as we match. Bumble seems… dead? I like tons of people but barely match and if they do they are tourists (eventhough it's clwar in my profile I want a local). I had few women that I gave my number, one cancelled with flaky reasons, 5 I cancelled myself because they started pushing for sexchats or simply wouldn't put in any effort to plan a proper date (dinner, cocktails, a museum… you know, something better than netflix and chill) or keep the conversation going. A lady wanted to meet me in the evening around dinner time, but didn't want to go for dinner because she had cooked soup yesterday? 🤡
